I was in IT and at one point had a manager who was a natural athlete. Teach car racing? Sure. Wipe out the entire other team at paint ball, no sweat. Shot under 100 with just a putter, yep. One of his golf buddies got new carbon shafted clubs, but wasn’t happy with them. He took one of the clubs and bested his friend’s shot by 50 yards.

I think he’s doing the gender reverse of “Do I look fat?” Clubs, bikes, pickleball paddles… we all tend to want to buy a better game.
