Getting a vacation on false pretenses can get you in trouble. In Iceland, people get two days of paid sick leave for every month they work at the same place. I once had a coworker who always took two days sick leave off every month. He was fired after just a few months.
bereavement is usually limited to very close family. I was denied paid leave for a brother in law . also his sister works there too , Berle needs a better plan
