My brother and sister are 5 and 6 years younger than I am. My parents often referred to “[my real first name] and the kids.”
My maternal grandmother had 15 children, 10 that lived to adulthood, 20 years between the oldest and the youngest.
My mother had 11 children. My sister was the oldest and got the brunt of watching overus younger brats…….
