I’m sorry, but how would Brutus know?

“If you are down the Foghorn Leghorn tune may help: “Everybody sing the song Doo-Dahh! Doo Dahh! Everybody sings the song Ohh, Doo-Dahh Day!” (if I remember the lyrics correctly.)

Apparently that last one was a dilly!

The Chief must must be thinking of that classic line uttered by Dark Helmet on the Bridge of Space Ball One when he found out the crew compliment’s darkest secret.

Do it right 1000 times and no one will remember. Do it wrong one time and no one will ever forget.

He should find a different company. Most are like, 18:1.

i’m surprised he got even one ‘attaboy’!

Chief expects positive results of what you do Brutus, but will always remember what you’ve done wrong at review time.

As we always said it “one aw $h*T wipes the slate clean”

Brutus, sadly Veeblefester is one of those with whom you cannot store up good will. If you make a mistake you are out of luck in the good will department. If you do a great job, then Veeblefester, the next day, only wants to know what you’ve done for him lately because yesterday is gone.

‘Attaboy’ is a nag running at 200 – 1 odds but “You Blew It” is always the favorite.

I think I see one of Brutus’ problems: he can’t look on the bright side. His worker ratio is 25:1 which makes him a winner in my book.

ya know what they say… all it takes is one bad egg to ruin it for the rest. :}

“That’s Life. Riding high in April, shot down in May”. Frank Sinatra song. Very philosophical. Doesn’t help l’m sure. However, you are in good company. Every married man can identify with that even of they ARE King of the World…..

The realities of working for others, they get to judge. Work for yourself and you can blame others.. or hope no one noticed.

I once had a district manager who said it this way: “It takes 100 ‘attaboys’ to make up for 1 ‘oh, $h!t’.”

Well this is a revelation – I never knew the Boss was capable of giving attaboys. That’s as stunning as would be a kind word to Brutus from his mother-in-law!

He is working for a boss named Rancid…..distinctly unpleasant or distasteful : OFFENSIVE.

In teaching it was the opposite. One “I get it!” wiped out 25 “huh?”s

I can’t believe he got ONE attaboy, let alone 25. I’ve never heard Veeblefester say anything nice.

Brutus lived up to his title today. I hope he is happier tomorrow.

I would imagine Veebs is the type to issue more you blew its than he does attaboys.
