My family’s lawn won prizes on the military base where I lived as a boy. I could not care less about what grass looks like after all the sweat I put into that. I have never had a lawn since.
we don’t have a “lawn” as such, but we keep the weeds trimmed. it’s easier than wading through a jungle. our neighbor, on the other hand, knows that winter will be back soon, so he just lets nature take its course…
