Our Sharp LCD flat screen from 2006 refuses to die. Sure, we also have two other newer, larger TVs now, but we haven’t gotten rid of a television in two decades.
My tv’s never go out! The oldest one is 15 years old. I’ll never get a 75" like I want…
Flat screen TVs and solar panels share much technology, which is why China is good at making both.

And the cathode ray tube sets are buried in the backyard.
