Tabby knows her stuff. If course she has her giant tub with extra butter. I’ve been to Bodega Bay. It’s a beautiful town. Living in the Bay Area means you’re never far from something great to see.
Good catch by the cat. I had a cat who would “blind jump” from behind the wall of my deck and catch finches. He figured out they flew ballistically from one end of the hedge to the other with one flap of the wings. By trial and error, he figured out how to jump over the wall and grab at the birds in mid-air somewhere along that parabola.
The learning curve was rough. He accumulated scratches on his nose because he had to fall twelve feet down through the hedge each time. One day I came home and he had three finches lined up by the door. Eventually the finches wised up and moved on.
