Looks like the cookies are missing, so are a hat and a clock.

Stel Bel, I can’t believe it! My wish is your command really? This is so great! And especially as you have subtly included the Mt Rushmore imagery in this poster. The hoomins tried that too:

There were these other feeble attempts:

    Note the lack of earflapping:

    And who is this guy?

As for Charles and company, above, I personally LOVE the chapeau on the fine fellow in the back. Now THAT’S STYLIN’!

Plus the guy in the middle reminds me of Larry Fine.

Wow, Stel! You did it! We speak, you provide!

(Not exactly original, considering everybody else has said it too!)

Who could ever forget the imagery in this film?

The stark light, as the handsome Cary Growl and the always elegant Eva Marie Saint Bernard flee their pursuers …

clambering in basset fashion over that giant, cold, stone muzzle…..

    Heart-stopping, indeed!

    Dennis….

    Great bus door scene….

But I really think the humans came closer to Stel’s poster with this one:

    https://theaxisofego.files.wordpress.com/2015/05/northbynorthwestposter.jpg

Of course, their statues have short, pointy human noses.

Who could climb about on one of those puny things?

Alexi…. is that the whole movie??

    Wow.

    And Liverlips…

I also love the front hat…. I think that must be Charles.

with that angular antler-ish piece, probably brass, that holds the two halves together…..

it goes so well with his reindeer sweater motif.

I hope Roaming 26-37 will come back to join us.

The crop duster crashes after getting the propeller caught in Cary Growl’s flapping ears.

Stel! What a treat! This is one of our All Time Favorite movies! You can always count on Hitchdog to present a really scary movie without being full of blood and gore! Just plain ole suspense!

I, too, really love Mount Rushmore in the background. And, of course, Cary Growl in a suit is so handsome!

Again, I come here after it’s pretty much been said, especially about the background faces. Kudos, again StelBel!!

I was so enthralled by Stel’s creation that I failed to give this Ballard Street its due. I mean, this is a particularly good one, no?
