A guy was out in his yard trying to fly a kite, and his wife calls through the window “you need more tail”. He calls back “That’s what I said this morning and you told be to go fly a kite!”
Pity that Schulz never came up with that one. What could frustrate CB more than his inability to get his kite in the air, and its ultimate fate of being devoured by the kite-eating tree? That the tree would be better at flying the kite. But I don’t recall ever seeing that in any Peanuts strip.
