Try using an empty plastic pop bottle. Grab it by the neck and pop him on the nose. Works for my corgi when she’s being a serious pill and needs a bit of non-harmful correction. Makes an awful pop, but I’ve tested it on me and it doesn’t hurt in the slightest.
No newspaper? No problem. Grab the ads that come in the mail and roll them up. Works just as well. We also use the ads as kindling on the barbecue pit.
