    Edwin attempts minimalism.

And if you don’t like it, ma’am, do your own digging.

I once had a zen rock garden after I left the rake out one winter one of it’s teeth fell out. I then replaced the rocks with broken vases and made the circles with the unrepaired rake, it was very interesting.

Stel, are you mad at Nighthawks? You know he will be screaming over this one. Nighthawks really needs to get some purplie desensitization therapy.

As usual, the humans got the colors all wrong.

And Susan was here – she gave DennisinSeattle a “like”.

It looks rather informal to me, if you can even call it a garden

    Hi Cleo pals!

Here I am! Here I am!

IF this will post, I mean.

Just in time for a lovely poster, too.

Tom Mixbasset…. mmmm….. a handsome fellow of a basset hound, in an old fashioned cowdog way.

(fanning myself rapidly with my vintage Tom Mixbasset purplie paper fan….

inscribed with his printed signature, and “to all my fans.” )

The humans copied this poster, of course….

and then, because it’s so beautiful, used it again, years later… for a different film with a different star.

I’d found pictures of both when this poster first ran…

but tonight I’m still struggling to open pages, and even to get the full comments to show….

so I’m going to concentrate on posting this one.

I’ve been struggling to get here (OK, off and on, I mean, not all day… ) since Tuesday night at the turn.

GoComics was fine on Monday night….

Since then, I can open my comics page, and then my profile page (which is how I get to Cleo on Ballard Street, and also check on late responses from the day before.)

But when I try to go to the next day, here, or open Sherpa, or any other pages or forums… I get nothing but timeouts and errors.

Tuesday and Wednesday, it went on for hours…. and did come back, but way too late.

Tonight, luckily, I got Cleo, and then this page, both open before two hours went by.

It’s very frustrating, to read my strips, and see my old comments… while unable to read Cleo on Sherpa, get to Ballard Street…. or comment anywhere, until GoComics lets me in.

BTW… I tried with two other browsers, and also on my phone, which uses 4g, and not Wi_Fi over my pokey internet connection.

If anybody has a clue what’s happening, please let me know.

Hope you all can see this!

@Jauntykitty is NOT gonna like that.

    P.S. Did Barkie Howladay co-star?

P.P.S. to @SusanRainOrShine I still can’t see your comment. Our IT guy says to open the bulkhead flappers and recirculate.

Stel, this is one of my favorite posters! I love how you have given Tom Mixbasset the cocked hat! Now, if Cleo would ever learn from him that a loaded biscuit is as powerful as any bazooka, we’re in business. Now I’m going to be looking for purplie sage when I go for my walk today.

So good to see you today, Susan! I don’t understand half of what you and Tigressy were talking about, but it’s sure good to see you so chatty.

Oh boy, Stel Bel. Reaching back into the vaults for silent film star Tom Mixbasset! I don’t know how you can get more classic than that.
