I listen to the morning business news on week days. I am pretty tired and stuffed with AI. Too much of it. AIAIAIAIAIAIAIAIIIIIIII!

    Oh, and bitcoin and GameStop.

And “the cloud” is just somebody else’s computer. Just bigger than yours.

No easy times for artists: first the pandemic years, now AI… :-/

Replace Republicans with AI. Won’t notice the difference.

I’m just an amateur artist. Not much chance I would ever sell any of my drawings or paintings anyway. But AI is going to make things harder on the professionals.

The people who designed the AI art programs did do something creative, and I can respect that. I can see that for someone who doesn’t want to learn to draw, they might be fun to play around with. What irritates me are the people who use them, and then pretend that it’s something they did themselves, using digital drawing apps. It’s a topic for discussion elsewhere on the Internet.

Modern art. If you can walk around it, it is a sculpture. If you hit a wall. it is a painting.

Once animal artists could pay off a zoo’s debts. Now nobody believes they do the art.

There was an elephant in the local zoo that gained fame for her paintings. She even signed them when she was done, then walked away. No one could convince her to alter a signed painting!
