Well, at least he’s still sober—for now.

Shabbat shalom, fellow Cappers. Please pray for peace and the release of ALL the hostages.

Reg Smythe’s and Andy Capp’s town of Hartlepool was mentioned on the Breakfast News this morning here in the UK. There were local elections throughout the UK yesterday and Hartlepool was one of the most important seats which the Conservative government has lost to the Labour Party.

Someone asked a few months ago how Hartlepool is pronounced. On the news today, it was pronounced as it is usually pronounced – Hart-lay-pool.

Well, since all of you ladies turned into Lardos, I’m sure Andy’s got regrets, too.

Flo! Stop! He’s about to jump in to the canal to save the weird little girl with the cool t shirt from “Non Sequitur”. You know, the Victim of Gravity.

We can’t post classics anymore, but we can paraphrase: Andy and Flo are having their ten billionth fight, and Andy yells, “Me mother warned me yer was tight and grasping!”

“You mean yer mother was against our marriage?”

“Yes, she was, bless her soul!”

“How I’ve WRONGED that poor woman!”

I’m too much of a coward to bring on the Welsh place names. I’m retired and too poor to tour there today anyhow. I’m just glad I had my Irish 90’s vacation when I could afford it.
