The Green Ship pirate sneaks onboard… makes his way toward the safe… and OH, he steps on the thistle!!

How could he feel through a wood leg. That foot is in a position that without being shattered, cannot be in. Don’t believe me, try holding your foot like he is.

Thistles have lovely purple flowers, but my favorite weeds are mulleins, with those soft velvety leaves. Good morning y’all.

Telling on my own people, but per legend the thistle became the symbol of Scotland because some Vikings once took their boots off to wade the moat of a Scottish castle in a night attack and found it full of thistles instead of water.
