most guys around Nate’s age would read these. I should know myself, I read the first Dork Diaries book when I was 12.

I kinda wish something different happened in this arc, like maybe a different person catching Nate reading that book, like Ellen or Teddy. So that it’s not just a copy of the Bethany arc.

I want to read these now.

One book I secretly loved as a young teen was called, “If I Loved You, Am I Trapped Forever?” by M. E. Kerr. It read like a girl’s romance book. I never shared that I read or liked it. It was about a guy struggling for the attention of a girl while she becomes enamored with the school weirdo. Can such love be requited? LOL

I like this story.Like that Nate is conflicted about his reading.Like the descriptions of the cheerleaders.But,love the Kenwood High school bit as this is my alma mater in real life.Kenwood High school in Essex,Baltimore County, Maryland.:)

My girls were hooked on “Babysitters Club” from about 9 to 13. And then they jumped to the “Divergent” series and LOTR. Harry Potter was in there as well.

I wonder if these are graphic novels or chapter books. Or possibly just regular novels, since he did find them in the “young adult romance” section because “The Cheerleader Chronicles” sound like it should be in the children’s section.

⚠️CLARITY UPDATE⚠️

Hey everyone, I just wanted to make an update. I have noticed that there are people who are still unsure as to whether or not the “war” is over. The answer is yes. There should be no conflict remaining, but I do notice that repoco may or may not be continuing the conflict. If so, just ignore it, he was never the leader anyways, that title went to me. This whole conflict thing got boring and cringe very quick. I realized it’s not 2020 anymore, and that I’m not 12, and the whole thing was very childish. I want to apologize to anybody that I may have clashed with such as Perfection, Juice, Magmate, Shell, FC BARCA, Rodriga, and MrWolf Gamer. I would never like to be an enemy in the chat, nor did I want this “war” to go as far as it did, with hurting others. It was meant to be a fun skirmish to revive the chat as well as stopping the harsh reviews, and again, I apologize for it.
