And now the real climax of the saga arrives.

Last episode, I wrote: “Wherever they are, they don’t seem to be in danger from falling ocean liners, aircraft, cars, or buildings.”

I guess we will find out what their danger is now in the next episode..

I’m going to guess that that might be the topsider facility going up. Possibly by accident, possibly by the topsiders elsewhere neutralizing the monster infestation. Or then again, the Eye having a hissy fit.

The reintegration of the realities is about to sort everybody out. Kirbee, Wally and Chick will not change, for various reasons. But they will be surrounded by a mix of ’Doodles and Humans.

I half expected Cracked Cat not to recognize her, and another week of tense emotional gut-punches to follow. I’ve been following this strip so long, I forgot what a happy ending is supposed to look like!

A happy ending? That would be Marx giving Walt’s soul a fishing rod, and Walt smiling…

Wally has already died once. I hope it isn’t necessary for him to be consumed (since apparently he is the key) to complete whatever is going to happen. Also…since he’s now Wally plus Cracked Cat—does he now have 17 lives instead of just 9? 17 because we saw Wally use one already.

“We’ll meet again….don’t know where….don’t know when…..but I know we’ll meet again some sunny day!”

He knew her! So Cracked Cat is Wally again? Please, please, please.

Been waiting a long time for panels 3 and 4 to happen. Very happy to see that.

Kirbee, as goofy as she was when we met her, is the embodiment of ❤️

For Crackilensky the usual order of thing is reversed: he gets his heaven first, then he goes toward the light.

Where’s the earth shattering kaboom?

The Well of Souls recycles the less-advanced souls. More advanced, stronger souls, like Wally’s, can keep themselves together and not be recycled, or they get reincarnated in some other reality, like Flask. This looks like a Super Soul, as well as a sun, and may have Super Soul powers. It may be the most advanced souls become suns. Wacky’s soul seems to be on a journey of advancement and may eventually become a Super Soul like this appears to be. So a Star like Wacky may become an actual star.
