Throw in a cocktail umbrella while you’re at it.

Those little gadgets would have been perfect in my dollhouses when I was a little girl. We made them out of big cardboard boxes, sewed curtains for the windows and blankets and pillows for the beds. We had to use our imaginations. I know, I know, OK Boomer.

I keep a cup full of those things to protect the tops of the food that I’m reheating in the microwave. Useable over and over, and I’m sure that I’m “saving the planet” by keeping them out of the landfills.

Ziggy is not renting furnished apartments.

Washed or as is?

My first thought was that it looked like a table, too!

My son had a Playmobile train set, and those tables were perfect for the hotel and the station and the jail.

Eh?

I think those 3 legged thingys are called “pizza savers” or more appropriately for the mouse’s purpose, a “pizza table”.

All you needed was the mouse taking the pizza from Ziggy and saying “we need a new table.”

Pizza places don’t use those around here anymore. The first time I saw anyone buy a pizza they were put on a round cardboard and into a paper bag. Then would puff the top up to keep it from sticking to the pizza.

I would think Pizza Rat would want a slice as well.

Give it to them Ziggy, please.

I read somewhere, and it kinda makes sense, that these round things are to hold one piece down as you’re separating slices.

Charge them extra, Zig, for any attached wayward cheese!

He received the mouse-age.

I have thought that those things would be great for the right sized action figures.

He’s asking really nice and you’re not going to need it anymore.

Google “The Ballad of Carmela Vitale: Pizza Saver, American Hero” to hear a song about the woman credited with inventing the pizza saver (kept the lids from getting on top of pizza and removing/absorbing half the cheese and other ingredients).
