One night, I was looking at the Moon with my small telescope on a tripod, when my brother-in-law dropped by. He asked what I was looking at, so I let him have a look. He said: “Wow, that’s pretty good! Can you make it any closer?”
I said: “Yeah, I think so,” and moved it up the driveway about ten feet. Really cracked him up.
That’s one of the problems I have with taking pictures with my phone. The phone decides all these things for you. Also, how do you change lenses on a smartphone?
The last time I did any serious photography was in the film era. Since then, I’ve been taking snapshots.
