Eh not all mosquitoes is make that sounds. There some sneaky pesky ones too, especially them teeny tiny ones.
That not how mosquito spray be used, silly hoomin. You gotta spray it on yourself see.

The lesson here is if your fly makes an “eeeee” noise, you have “psst” on it.
Somewhere I’d learned that while the males make noise, it’s the louder females that actually do all the biting.
