I found a day planner (remember those) that didn’t have any ID in it. It did have three uncashed pay checks! I called the restaurant on the checks and got the planner back to the owner.
If Herb had found my wallet, it wouldn’t ’av taken him any time at all the return it. No cash.
“Who steals my purse steals trash”,
and credit cards, but little cash.
A Kleenex, a cough drop box,
And a sales slip for a pair of socks.
