Now would be a good time to teach the kids how to change the channel without the remote. At my house my kids used to think it meant they were all grown up if they got to be the one that changed the channel by turning the magic knob. Of course, we only had two channels back then. Better yet, it would be a great time to teach the dog that he is a dog and must obey humans.
It might not be a bad idea to pick up a spare remote. I’ve seen what dogs can do to it, thinking it’s a chew toy. Seen plenty if those instances on America’s Funniets Home Videos.
