Ma Bell

He’s only quasi-sorry.

Can you hear me now?

He was going deaf in the bell tower.

Or much of anything else. With me, it was jet engines. I’m paying for it.

Wait. He’s the ringer.

I don’t really know him, but his face sure rings a bell. (Punchline to what is formally known as a “Dad joke”.) Joke shown in my reply.

He shoulda set his Android phone to vibrate. Hey, that wouldn’t work either!

On a personal note, I’ve used “bell tower” as my ring tone when I realized that no one else does. I’ve yet to reach for my phone to check when another one near by “rings”.

Shouldn’t he at least have had a hunch? Or is he that fraude, Clollo?
