Flying is just falling with style.

Flying is falling and missing the ground.

Sometimes our little fledglings just need a little push out of the nest.

Those birds are jerks. All they did was wonder what it would be like to fly.

Blue jays are not nice people.

Jays are often the jerks of the avian world.

There’s that Gravity thing again !

Birds fall from the window ledge above mine

Then they flap their wings at the last second

…

Now due to a construct in my mind

That makes their falling and their flight

Symbolic of my entire existence

It becomes important for me

To get up and see

Their last-second curves toward flight

It’s almost as if my life would fall

Unless I see their ascent

Sometimes the Bluebird of Happiness has a bad attitude.

Turtles are rarely arboreal. Since it usually ends just like this.
