I am literally a dead ringer for my Dad. I mean we seriously look so alike we give people a double take when we are out in public. Sure he has more wrinkles than me given he is 78, but da*n when you look at photos of him at my age, we look exactly alike. I suppose at least I know how I will look at his age!
When I was 9 my mom showed me a picture of her at 9. The resemblance was striking. Is Ric named after J. P. Richardson? I thought it was the wrestler. :)
I’ve been told I look like my Mom, and that is a compliment. I don’t think of myself as any great beauty, but she had a way of drawing people to her with her kind face and clear interest in what they had to say. She’s been gone a long while now and I still miss her like it was yesterday.
