I’m trying to figure out what happened…the runner on second goes for third, but Keri would have to be on second base for the ball to take that angle, it seems to me. Correct me if I’m wrong.

The dialogue today is as senseless and disoriented as the illustrations today. Henry and Whigs, you guys shouldn’t be getting impaired together when you work.

At least the colorist had Madison wearing the obligatory UNC blue and black uniforms, so on the balance, all is right in the GT dystopia.

In P2, does anyone else think the Milford shortstop is facing right field? Or is she the Arab girl facing Mecca, but who doesn’t want to kneel in the middle of a play? And doesn’t P3 work only it was a wild pitch or passed ball on the first base side. “They’re going for it” is horribly vague — and sounds like a football 4th and 1. BTW, what’s the score? Game tied or Milford up one? Yeesh.

Since when is there a baseline between second and third, and why does ball look like its coming from right field.

Stealing third is an insult to the catcher. The batter is now going to take the glove off and smack it across Keri’s face.

Just questioning the position of the Third base player and the person sliding in, it appears that Kari made the throw from second base as the player is sliding in parrel to the thrown ball as the third base person is jumping in the air with the ball coming from the same position as the runner.

“Welcome everybody, to MC Escher Field for today’s game. Good luck trying to figure out the bases and the field in general.” And speaking of in general, today’s Mopped Up Thorp is pretty good, in general.
