Back when I had more hair than sense, I had the idea of having my hair cut very short in the middle, perming the sides, and dying them pink for that French poodle look. Somehow, I never quite got around to it.

Wow, very flexible in here age!

When the Supercuts near me raised their prices 3x in less than a year, I gave up and started shaving my head at home for free. That was about 15 years ago and I haven’t regretted it at all.

Not sure this cartoonist has ever taken a dog to a dog groomer. Depends on the size of the dog, but likely to cost more to much, much more than a human hair cut.

And Broomie was such a good girl!

It could be worse. She could’ve gone to a cat groomer. Then every time she scratched her head her butt went up in the air.

My friends, the really poor ones, took they doggie to a pet groomer for a $65 cut. I’ve never had a dog that needed a haircut. And I’ve stopped getting haircuts by the barber when I first learned to cut my few locks myself. It’s so simple.

Looks like Broomie picked up some new friends after that visit.

Did they give a treat after they cut your hair, besides the fleas.

My barber gets $15, my dog groomer gets $50.
