“Nothing, just enjoying the smell of the fresh soil. I wanted to see if this huge bone I burried the other day had yet grown some offset.”

“Couldn’t you have burried it somewhere else, for heaven’s sake?”

“Why should I? Hm? The kitchen garden is the right place to plant bones, isn’t it?”

Oh, Fred! You DO know better. You made your choice knowing full well you would get into it with both Dears. Was it worth it? Really?

Fred, you’ve been a BAAAAD DOOOOOG.

By all means, yell at the dog. He certainly didn’t do it just to make you angry. I really do not care for Mr. Dear at all. There, I’ve said it! Poor Fred…..

Nice soft previously turned soil, perfect for digging in.

In order to evict the Vermin one must go after them ;-)

We have half dozen throw rugs near the back door. They catch most of the mud and can be thrown in the washing machine.

The Dears have definite anger issues, and taking it out on our Fred! Why did they let him out there in the first place? If he had to go potty they should have watched him more carefully!

Poor Fred. Sometimes I think they are way too hard on him.

Remember that these are early strips. The Dears could sometimes be very grumpy, especially Mr. Dear. But they mellow quite nicely over time. It’s just a bit jolting since we went back to the beginning.

Getting an earful on both sides

How about putting a fence around the garden and some grass for him to walk in to loosen up any mud? Never the humans fault eh?

I don’t think they deserve a dog. sigh!

Poor, Fred. No one seems to understand no other place is available to him.

Why would they put a garden in their kitchen?

Is it me or have the Dears gotten meaner
