Heard the story, true or not, of officer who tried to pull over his pastor to ask a question about church. Pastor didn’t pull over, drove a mile or more to some secluded spot before stopping.

“Why didn’t you pull over when I turned on the lights?”

“Do you think I want people to see me pulled over on the highway? They’ll think I’m breaking the law.”

Talk about nosy.

A police officer once pulled me over in the wee hours of the morning because I was driving a little erratically. I tried to explain it was because I was watching him in my rearview, going twice through the roundabout (he was driving an unmarked car) and wondering if he was driving impaired. But as soon as he saw the stethoscope around my neck (veterinary nurse coming off an overnight shift), he apologized profusely and drove away.

I was driving my new truck through a small town and got pulled over for not coming to a full stop at a stop sign. The officer spent most of the time asking questions about my truck and then gave me a warning ticket.

A couple of weeks ago I went to a Low Rider show here in San Diego in Barrio Logan, one of our neighborhoods. Now THERE is some craftsmanship.

Using power for aesthetic sake! Gotta love that!

Ha! One more good reason to drive a clunker!

The driver is a higher up in the department! OOPS!!

Seems like abuse of power to me, wonder what Mr. Teaches Police Ethics is gonna think of this.
