While Darwin was on the Beagle, they played on their smart phones.

Darwin kept a record of the backgammon games. When Emma died, he was ahead 2,795 to 2,490. I looked it up because I was curious if he only played because he won, but the two of them were pretty even.

“I heard shaking from your bedroom” “I play backgammon with my wife” “Twice a day??” “Yes. Why?” “Nothing… it’s that I just saw your wife at the market…” And that’s how myth starts.

When they did that survey all the Dark Souls players were still too busy smashing their controllers to respond.

128 ollies believe it or not. I don’t know whether to believe it or not. 128, wow! Ollies, wow! Should I pretend to know what an ollie is because I really have no idea. Maybe Stan knows.

Mario Kart might be the most stressful video game but it pales in comparison to some of the commuting I had to do when driving to the Norfolk Naval Base. They had gates allowing two lanes of traffic. Every car had to stop to show ID’s. By the time I got to the ship, I felt like I had worked a full eight hours. I aged rapidly then.

“Mario Kart” refers to a whole series; there’s no one game with that exact title.

Wooo! Those Darwins! Living the high life! Do you suppose they made the game – more exciting – with some – side wagers?

Winner takes all – nudge nudge?
