More likely a home would have a small personal phone number & address book filled with the numbers and addresses of friends and family members and whatever else who’s number and/or location you needed to remember. 95% of the time a Rolodex was found in a office or place of business.

Then we got the plastic thingy with alphabetical tabs. You pressed a tab and it flipped open to that letter. You still had to fill out the cards tho.

I bring a notebook to school to write ideas for new characters and one of my coworkers said, “Don’t you have Goggle Docs?”

I had two of the small size rolodexes – personal and business. They were sitting our office closet. Husband asked if they were still there and could he have one – sure!

What does he use it for? He has his passwords and sign-ins on the cards so he can find them easily! So they still have a good use.
