It’s the joke, but that’s really how the banks make money today. Rope people in, then rewrite the terms so you’re in debt for life (otherwise known as “usury”.)

If you lend Andy 10-pound note, then that is the first, last, and only 10-pound note. No further loans of 10-pound notes until he pays off the first 10-pound note.

I’m a bit surprised Andy didn’t try to touch him for another loan, he’s losing his touch.

The problem with banks acting irresponsibly (downright criminally at times) is that we pay for it, and they get rescued most of the time. Shame really.

And yes it is you fault, knowing he has credit rating in the minus figures.
