My cat started drooling uncontrollably one morning after eating, there was even a bit of blood.

She seemed fine, though. Very happy and playful. Before I took her to the vet, she ate again, and drooled a lot again, but no blood. And again, she seemed fine.

When I was able to take her to the vet, they couldn’t find anything wrong with her.

I suspect the little rascal ate a frog, and the drooling was to get rid of the bad taste. The blood was probably from the frog, and was still in her mouth when she drooled the first time.

Another time, she brought a dead pigeon home, and woke me up with the noise she was making, munching on the bird.

That is the absolute doggiest dog thing a dog does do. Both mine do this at least every other day. “DROP IT” is a constant part of my vocabulary. Thankfully the yorkie will obey… the corgi? Not so much.

I can believe it, dogs don’t know what they’re eating, it’s not around long enough to taste it.

You can check it out after Sofie up-chucks it on the carpet.
