Cats don’t deny anything because they do not display guilt. Whereas a dog can be made to feel guilty by shouting at it about something it didn’t even do.
You can make a cat angry or frightened but never guilty. They consider themselves perfect creatures in a world designed for their benefit. (Sort of like the British during the colonial Empire period).
