This reminds me of the 1970 Joe Namath movie ‘C.C. and Company’, in which during the opening sequence, Namath’s biker character C.C. Ryder nonchalantly opens items directly off the shelves of the supermarket in order to make a sandwich, and proceeds to eat it without paying for the items. I will never unseen that, and to this day, I will occasionally have a dream in which I am going around in the supermarket, eating items off the shelf, Little Debbie Snack Cakes in particular.

I’d go for the cookies and chips. Cans tend to be full of stuff like vegetables and soup.

He’s been known as an expert with a manual can opener.

Next thing, you’ll say that snacking on the grapes isn’t sampling, that it’s having brunch, instead.
