I’ve stopped reading books by authors whose lives I find abhorrent. There’s already more books than I can possibly read in my life, I have no regrets about kicking them to the kerb.

Picasso was a monster, but any attempt to understand 20th Century art without him would be futile.

I find it easier to respect someone whose work I don’t like than to like the work of someone disgusting.

It’s sad that so many people miss out on good things just because they don’t like the person who does them. Some would rather pay for a Big Mac than eat a free 777 Burger made by Gordon Ramsay because they don’t like him. Think about it.

Trump treats Ivanka nicely.

Of course, that may only be because he is attracted to her.

The trouble is, nobody gets famous for their personal life. By the time you hear about it, you’ve probably already made up your mind to dislike them.
