Do they still publish Highlights for Children?

My mother used to read Highlights to me when I was a kid, (my grandfather had gotten me a subscription). 50 years later she told me it was hard to read Goofus and Gallant. Turns out my prim and proper Mama couldn’t stand Gallant. ;)

DEAR EVERYONE! i would like to make a BIG announcement. yk when ur like trynna read comics, but one day’s strip just doesn’t load up no matter how many times you try? well THERES FINALLY A SOULTION. btw, only to pc not mobile. also, this isn’t ez so u need some coding skills B). ill show it on this strip. anyway, first right-click the strip (the part where it shows the name of it yadi yadi ya instead of the picture. right click and press inspect. now just scroll a few lines of code up until you reach the one above the one that says comic wrapper. double click on the assets.amiuniversal link and click go! and boom ur there. if not refresh the page a lot or come back later

Ahh, Goofus and Gallant.

I’ve always thought Goofus and Gallant would be a great name for a band.

Not a bad idea, in theory, given the price of magazines these days …
