I got hearing aids from England on EBay. There was an online test for hearing and the doctor used it to set them to my hearing levels. They were top of the line and the best I ever had— $4500, in the USA. But, in England, they are about $200, national healthcare, and another $100 for the doctor. Asked him about the legality, and he said, no British rules against it. I guess to them it would be like charging for the air.
