Oh, so true. So much to do in the garden and so little time.

And so, so, SO little interest!

She who gardens is the gardener. It’s not a job I asked for, and fortunately we’re not related.

Lol, I didn’t expect Star Wars daydreaming from him

Husband is the one who likes to “putter” in the garden. Back decades ago when he was working he would put in a vegetable garden in the summer. Problem was that his company closed for vacation as all of the produce was coming in so we were not here. His parents lived nearby and his dad would come, check on the house, take our mail and harvest whatever vegetables they wanted.

Then his dad died. So he stopped planting vegetables as they would just go bad while we were away. Have not traveled on a summer vacation since Covid started – but he can no longer deal with bending over to plant things – plus the new neighbors in the back sprayed their fence with some chemical which went over all the growing bed so he would be afraid to plant anything to eat there.
