She wants someone she can beat up!

Simple. She wants a friend. Who doesn’t?

April, she didn’t want YOU! Why would she have another “oops” baby?

Panel 3 breaks my heart to see April so desperate for affection she is hugging Elly’s leg. She is much clingier than she was before she had her near death experience, as you would expect.

She wants a Linus so she could be Lucy.

It sucks to be younger by 15 and 11 years. She’s growing up essentially as an only child.

Sounds like she may be needing a speech therapist soon. I started speech therapy at 4 years old and never looked back. That was 60 years ago!

I wonder if I’ll be having similar conversations with my son when he’s older.

I think it’s time for daycare for April so she can socialize with kids her own age.

strange. One always wants to be older until they reach some age. Then they want to be younger.

awww…. April misses her grown siblings.

I guess being the youngest has its challenges.

A good reason to have another baby…

There are times when Elly lives up to her status as a dropout. All she would have to do to get rid of an oops baby was a quick trip to Planned Parenthood.

Had April been conceived in the U.S.A after June 24th, 2022, then it is understandable that John and Elly have to carry their oops baby to term.

But the Pattersons live in Millborough, Canada.

Being always “too young” for my two older siblings, I know just what poor April is going through!

Would the Pattersons consider adopting a child?

If Elly has a fourth child, then what? How will Elly react when asked about another baby and John Jr. remarks that he wants to be bigger than someone?

My DIL had her 3rd child a year ago. Meanwhile, she has two other girls who are 8 and 10. Those two are very close. I keep wondering how this little one will feel in a few years when her sisters are off doing teenage stuff and she’s watching Sesame Street.

Careful what you wish for. You could easily become bigger than everyone.
