A conviction will cement his status as the worst president in US history. So far he just holds it, subject to someone worse coming along.

Conviction would cement tfg’s Worst-By-Far presidential status only for rational minds.

    The MAGATs won’t believe it.

These are historic times. I thought the moon landing would be the biggest thing I ever witnessed. But not now, and it’s not over yet. The worst is probably still ahead for us. The whole Trump phenomenon is something that will be studied and discusses in the future.

No doubt tfg’s legal people will do their best to delay sentencing until after the GQP convention.

I’m not celebrating until he’s sentenced and I see him enter a penal facility in an XXXL jumpsuit that matches his complexion. Frankly, not holding my breath.

Unfortunately, this will not change many voters minds - but it will make them angrier. People who ignored or dismissed his embarrassing public behavior and business shenanigans before will dismiss this as another example of unlawful persecution and conspiracy. [Though how they can call it unlawful is strange when the laws have been on the books a long time and other people have been prosecuted for them.] And even those who realize that the “Emperor has no clothes” will continue to stay silent-we seem to have a lot of leaders who can’t lead. I just hope that we don’t have more violence.

It should never have come to this. He should have been in prison decades ago, choose the crime among many he has admitted to or bragged about, much less those there’s a lot of evidence for. That way he wouldn’t have had a chance to be ‘president’, or at least he shouldn’t have.
