Also, as far as I know, the gag order is Not lifted until after sentencing; then appeals can be filed as well, and I Think the gag order then stays in place until all appeals are done.

No, the gag order is not lifted. The case isn’t closed yet.

Did he pay a porn star with business money?

Did he pay her as part of his campaign?

Did he forge business documents as part of the transaction?

Did he write the cost of paying the porn star off the company taxes as a business expense?

There are some quarters of this country you really have to wonder about. How can anyone believe Trump, a person born into substantial wealth, who had life handed to him on a silver platter, who has repeatedly broken the law and gotten away with it, when he says our legal system is rigged against him? It makes you wonder.

And to those on the news last night who proclaimed that they will still vote for a CONVICTED felon, that is a shocking indictment of them, their upbringing, and their morals.

Mr. Bok, a jury found him guilty on all 34 counts.

Perhaps it’s time for a new career for Mr. Trump. McDonald hires convicted felons and I saw they’re looking for a new spokesman. Perfect fit: Donald McDonald.

It is unlikely that we will see any orange jumpsuits resulting from this trial. So far, the New York justice system has bent over backwards to be sure that Trump is treated just as any other person in his position would be treated. If they continue to do that, and they will, because they are under heavy scrutiny from both directions, he will pay a large fine, and be put on probation. He will have to have his travel plans OKd by his probation officer. Ordinarily, he wouldn’t be allowed to leave the jurisdiction, but exceptions might be made for this when necessary for business. Overseas travel will almost certainly be prohibited. Probably won’t want to campaign out of the country anyway. But, would be decidedly inconvenient and embarrassing for the president to have to skip a summit meeting in Europe because he isn’t allowed out of the country.

Oh yes the gag is lifted. By all means keep yapping and I’m sure whatever else you say will be taken into consideration at your sentencing on July 11th

I can’t vote for a convicted felon. That’s a bridge too far. I taught my children honor and integrity. I can’t undo all that by voting for this convicted criminal.

Trump has always felt free to run his big ugly insulting mouth that spews nothing except hatred and lies.

No it doesn’t, and the judge will take into consideration the twelve (so far) violations of that gag order at sentencing.

That was trump lying. The gag order was to prevent trump from speaking out about potential witnesses and most people in or associated with the court or the New York district attorney’s office, and that’s the gag order that trump ignored multiple.

trump also lied when he said he’d testify. He was never going to testify. They couldn’t have gotten him up on the stand if they had baited the chair with Big Macs and free money.

The reason trump didn’t testify is because he’s a coward and he can’t stand being questioned under oath, knowing he can’t lie his way out.

Also, there was a possibility trump might be forced to read his own statements, and he’s barely literate, so he’d be further humiliated, struggling with out loud reading.

34 counts times 12 jurors = 408 guilty votes. Not one hold out. Are his lawyers that bad at voir dier, or is he just that guilty? Oh, I forgot, Biden did it all….sheeesh.

He whines that he wanted to testify but couldn’t. It wasn’t the gag order. It was his cowardice, or perhaps even a little awareness that he couldn’t talk without ranting and raving in an incriminating way

I thought the gag order was lifted once the jury reached a verdict, but then I found out it stays in effect until he is sentenced. I wonder how many more thousands he will be fined or will the judge do as he threatened and put him in jail?

I would never vote for a person like him whether they were a Democrat or a Republican but I feel some people will feel sorry for him and vote him in a president. I feel that is a heck of a reason for voting for someone to be the leader of your country.
