It hasn’t caught on with my neighbor. I’ve mowed our lawn eight times, he’s just cut it for the first time. It was a foot high and falling all over itself. He had to weed-whack the whole yard before doing a crappy job of mowing. He hasn’t been away, he’s just lazy.
I count it as my exercise day. But I do like to let my grass high enough to see if any interesting plants might come up. With all the wildlife I get some interesting seeds dropped in my yard.
I think it would catch on, but in not in my neighborhood, I think that out of 300 homes 8 people still cut their own lawns. I have been doing mine for 50+ years, Dad made it look like fun when I was 9, had a lawn service at 13 for a year
I wear my Fitbit when I mow and when I checked my steps after I finish, it is counting it as if I am riding a . There is nothing within the different options of exercise for walking behind a lawnmower. Weird!!!
