Anime influenced art styles are making all Western cartoons look the same and they are killing diverse original art styles, I read a lot of anime fans saying they don’t like some particular Japanese anime shows because of their art styles.
if you show a lot of people characters from old American animated shows/films they will tell you the name of the show/film because of the art style even if they forgot the name of the character.
I can’t deny anime is popular but not for everyone, Western cartoons should remain Western in style.
