I went back just to watch Seagull progress through the frames.

Where does the donkey spu? It spus on youse.

And Seagull was having such a nice nap.

Spud was very off key. He made an @ss of himself again.

Four possibilities. July 32 could be July 23 in reverse. It could have been meant to be July 30 or July 31. It could have been meant to be the day after July 31 which Spud didn’t know is August 1.

Spud On Key. Spudonkey. Huh. Has a certain ring to it.

Read it the same as Wallace! Punctuation and space bar fail Spud again.

Funny, he knows to put a hyphen in hip-hop..!

Hundreds of flyers, Spud? You keep dreaming big.

Well, the flyers did go flying.

I didn’t think Hip-Hop “artists” had to be on key.

Snack Shack had to agree to the show, or they’d lose their best customer

When I saw he was performing at the snack shack, I burst out laughing.

July 32 is quite the mistake.

It’s a creative and unpredictable idea to have timid, fearful Spud sometimes become a bold and proud hip-hop performer.

It’s a rare cartoonist that can get you to hear the “on keeeeeyyy” with their drawing.

I can’t disagree with his mom. That looks like $60 worth of printer ink.

But brilliant artwork in today’s strip from Will Henry.

Master lyricist?

Spu Donkey needs to get his act together.

Well then, sounds like it’s back to the drawing board for the stage name again. But to be far to Spud, the idea wasn’t bad, it’s just his name of “Spud” proved an unfortunate combination with it.

I suppose he could just go with “Spud.” It’s not exactly an everyday name to begin with, after all.

Spudonkey literally (and I mean literally) made me laugh out loud.

Title panel: Spud is at a street corner ready to put his first flyer on a telephone pole when he notices the error. He’s seen saying , “Heavens no.” There’s a flyer for kazoo lessons and a lost fish already on the pole.

BTW, Seagull is with him, so he must have flown off to Wallace’s house to avoid the certain rant that was going to happen, but got it anyway.

Looks like I’ll be avoiding the Snack Shack the end of July, beginning of August.
