I do not watch the news. I read it. On TV, they take 30-60 minutes to give out 5 minutes of actual news. The rest is them telling you headlines, commercials, and telling you what they said. I can read headlines on my phone or computer, and decide if I want to read something or not. I find it more efficient and less annoying.
