Could one turn out to be a gateway sport to the other?
(For any unfamiliar with term ‘gateway’ – something that opens you to something else. Opponents of weed called it a gateway drug to heroin, and gave their kids beers. Turns out alcohol was the biggest gateway to hard drugs. And no, I am not saying everyone who drank beer ended up on heroin, I am saying it was a more common starting point than smoking bananas or inhaling fumes from model cement.)
