Isn’t it wonderful when the tap works again? It’s making me remember the cold January when one of the pipes in the well broke and it was 19 days before the ground thawed enough to dig down to where the break was to fix it. Then there was the summer of 1988 when drought cased all the wells in the neighborhood went dry.
I experienced my first ever boil water advisory this year. City infrastructures are aging. This is becoming more prevalent nationwide as most pipes were installed in the early 1900s.
