Meloni here in Italy, Le Pen in France, Afd in Germany and far right in Austria and so on in East Europe Nazi and Fascist surround us: we, Europeans are in big danger.
if anyone didn’t fully understand that the far right’s phony fulminations about anti-Semitism were just a political ploy, Goodwyn’s support for neo-Nazis in Europe should erase all doubt.
It feels like a Spring thaw. The Leftist Progressive project is beginning to melt worldwide. The green shoots of liberty are sprouting everywhere. The White Witch is on the run!
It’s broadly accurate to draw a parallel between Marine le Pen and Donald Trump. However, it betrays a severely USA-centric viewpoint, as this implies she’s copying him. She’s actually been at this a great deal longer — and if anything, she’s actually been softening her party’s image in recent years, probably because after decades of failure, she’s realized her party is never going to win an election otherwise. She even threw her own father out of the party. It’s questionable whether these moves have been anything more than whitewashing to help win elections; certainly they have helped raise the party’s poll numbers. And the party is indeed deeply entrenched in nationalism, xenophobia, and conservatism, to a degree that would probably startle a lot of American Republicans. But at least they’ve finally started kicking the overt Vichy government supporters out, if you catch my drift.

I think she gets her orders from Putin as well as Trump so it’s not looking good for Western democracies.

Al appears to be an equal opportunity fanatic for RW ultra-nationalists and authoritarians regardless of their nation.

Cheering for far right-wing European leaders has never boded well for Americans, historically speaking.

Many of the immigrants to France are from their former African colonies-the source of much of France’s wealth.

Goodwyn can’t tell what’s happening in the US and thinks he can talk about other countries. Get real Goodie.

Leftists don’t support lower immigration, crime and cost of living? Maybe the latter, as it’s a strong polling issue.
