Follow The… Queen? (NOT my story)

I work as a poker dealer. A woman sits down at the table.

Me: “Would you like me to deal you in, miss?”

Gambler: “Nope. Not ‘miss’. Don’t like that.”

    Me: “Ma’am?”

    Gambler: “Nope, not that.”

Me: “How would you prefer I address you?”

    Gambler: “Don’t call me ‘ma’am’!”

Me: “I’m happy to address you in any way you prefer, but you need to let me know—”

Gambler: “Don’t call me ‘ma’am’, or there’ll be trouble!”

Me: “Is ‘sir’ or ‘mister’ what you’re looking for, then? Or would you prefer ‘woman’? Because those are the only three things I can come up with.”

She huffs, walks away, and sits at the next table. The other dealer says:

Dealer: “Good evening, sir. How’s your night going?”

    She huffed again and left.

Lady Problems must be the former owner of the company. But Barney: You can’t win in this case. No matter what you’ll call it, it will be wrong.

Women continue to be shorted in the medical field, on both sides. Now they’re dying in parking lots with failed pregnancies because of the GOP lunacy of anti-woman anything.

Years ago, in Dallas there was a business with wooden sign “Feminine Protection” which caused a double-take. Turns out they made handbags and clutch purses for conceal/carry weapons.

Simple Ms. Foxx, write up the charter and make yourself the sole beneficiary of the company. Tell him it’s the Ladies Health Problems solution and he’ll sign off on it just to get rid of you.
