People are a lot to take in, so Uncle Ted has a point.

People on social media show the worst of themselves.

Social media gives TMI.

I prefer not knowing anything about them. Then there’s the unwanted ads and fake news stories aimed at you.

Instead of playing connect the dots, you play connect the people.

Today I got 2 emails from my power company saying I or somebody told them to turn off my power on the 26th. It is still on, so far. My Duke Energy acct was closed.I have no close neighbors, I have a whole house generator if they turn it off but I will call 1st thing tomorrow.I LOVE people!

Spot on Uncle Ted. Dirty Laundry should be washed before airing out in public. Social Media not your sex therapist or Pastor. Know several people who lost jobs and spouses from Dirty Laundry exposed and Law Enforcement Monitors Social Media. And Children Post very Alarming Data there also for Perverts. Un Huh.

I prefer social media to face-to-face. I don’t have to leave my house and I don’t have to get dressed.

Uncle Ted makes a good point…!

Besides, when you meet social media people in real life, they’re not always as good as they seem on the internet.

Familiarity breeds …

I agree with Uncle Ted. As the maxim goes, “Familiarity breeds contempt.”

I still like dogs better than (some) people.

The more people I meet, the more I love my dogs.

I learned to dislike some of my coworkers after we had a “team building” exercise of all sharing results of our individual Myers-Briggs personality tests.

maybe try connecting to strangers… then you’ll not be so annoyed with them. :D

I love humanity, it’s people I can’t stand.

So true! Beloved Uncle Ted once again brings a voice of sanity and (sadly not so) common sense where it’s needed. And Brutus again shows how much he appreciates his uncle. As do I!
